The Keith Whitley Memorial Concert is to honor the artistic contributions to Country Music from Keith Whitley as a songwriter, performer, Husband, Father, and his deep rich history from growing up in Kentucky playing Bluegrass and Country Music. He started playing music with his brother and father in a family band. He then started a bluegrass group with Ricky Skaggs. This year is the 30th anniversary of Keith’s Death May 9, 2019. The tradition of riding Motorcycles from Keith’s home town of Sandy Hook Kentucky to Nashville on the anniversary of his death has been going on for over 20 years. They then have rode into Nashville and family and Friends would gather that evening for a concert at various locations over the years.
